Week 107 chemo complete: A hop and a skip on Cap River

Saturday morning I hiked part of the trail at Capilano River Regional Park in North Vancouver. It was fairly quiet and relaxing location. As I wandered along, a number of joggers alone or with their dog passed by. Walking beside rushing water is such a cool experience and I plan to return later in Spring, to see the trees and flowers budding.

I’m happy that I didn’t go hiking this morning, as it snowed overnight, which would make the trail muddy. As well, slippery rocks + camera is never a good combination.

Focused on positivity each day.

To recap: On Sunday, February 26th, I completed Cycle 27 Week 3. I have Multiple Myeloma and anemia, a rare blood cancer. It is incurable, but treatable. Since February 9th 2015, I have been on Pomalyst and dexamethasone chemo treatment (Pom/dex).

Weekly chemo-inspired self-portraits can be viewed in my flickr album.
