Saturday morning I travelled to Crippen Regional Park on Bowen Island to hike Dorman Point again. I always enjoy taking the ferry, as I imagine myself travelling to a distant island where birds and diverse animals greet me as I wander around.
The rocks were pretty steep leading to a big drop so I tried to be careful moving around. I spent time reading, before the sun disappeared behind the clouds, as the view of Howe Sound is quite beautiful.
I love exploring BC – Nature rocks here!
To recap: On Sunday, February 19th, I completed Cycle 27 Week 2. I have Multiple Myeloma and anemia, a rare blood cancer. It is incurable, but treatable. Since February 9th 2015, I have been on Pomalyst and dexamethasone chemo treatment (Pom/dex).
Weekly chemo-inspired self-portraits can be viewed in my flickr album.
