Google recently announced its removal of ad blocking software from its Play Store. A move I heartily disagree with because I think we should enjoy the choice of whether or not we wish to be inundated with advertising or not, and that we should be able to decide which apps we choose to install on our mobile devices.
So here is F-Droid. A source much like Google Play where you can still download ad blocking apps among other free and open source apps. You can get the F-Droid app from their website at http://F-Droid.org or you can access it via the QR code I’ve included at left.
