Project #7800 – Multiple #Myeloma Study
CRC Research is conducting a study about Multiple Myeloma. Patients will be selected either for three 60 minute long interviews OR a written journal with a possible follow up telephone interview. We are looking for Multiple Myeloma patients to simply discuss their experiences so that we can provide feedback to enhance these experiences and we would very much appreciate your insight. At no point will we attempt to sell you anything now or later, this project is strictly for market research purposes.

TOUCH POINT TELEPHONE INTERVIEW – 300 CAD
The study involves participation in 3 [60] minute telephone interviews which will be facilitated by an experienced healthcare moderator. These 3 telephone interviews allow the moderator to touch base with you over the course of one-two weeks. Past participants have commented that the experience allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and that they appreciated the opportunity to express themselves in a special way. These interviews will be scheduled at a date and time that are convenient for you.
WRITTEN JOURNAL – 400 CAD
The study involves participation in a [5] day journal, similar to a personal diary, except that each day you are given a unique exercise to complete over 5 days. The average time to complete the journal is 5 hours in total over the course of 7 to 10 days. The exercises may ask you to reflect on your personal story and your thoughts and feelings about prostate cancer. Past participants have commented that the experience allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and that they appreciated the opportunity to express themselves in a special way.
At any time during the process you can withdraw if you no longer want to continue. Your responses are confidential, and there will be no follow-up or attempt to sell you anything. Once you return the completed journal, you will be paid an honorarium as a thank you for your time.
Honorarium will be mailed out to your preferred address if you qualify and complete the entire study.
