If you have not already, please read Part 1 first: http://www.myeloma-forums.com/entry….Myeloma-Part-1
Since my last blood work labs on April 5, 2012, the one that produced KFLC result 56.90 mg/dl, I have continued to take Reishi mushroom soup. Towards the end of the month I also started taking aloe vera juice. I first purchased an aloe vera juice from maker Lily of the desert, I opted for the whole leaf (filtered). Then I also purchased another one from the international section of the grocery store. This one is from the maker Visvita and is called Savila, it has organic sugar cane added and tastes really good. I mix the two together for a total of one cup and take it prior to going to bed.
Did everything else the same including the same supplements and work out regimen. Only one minor change. When I restocked on Reishi I bought a few boxes of the dark Reishi and one light colored Reishi. The light colored Reishi is known as Red Reishi. My friend that I mentioned in Part 1 uses the light colored variety. I’ve been using the dark colored variety but on my last batch I used half light and half dark. On both boxes it reads… Ganoderma Lucidum. The lighter one has a more bitter taste. I’m gonna stick with the dark even though they are $5 more. I’ll post a link or two below that gives some information on Reishi and cancer, and on different types of Reishi.

And now,… for the hundred dollar question… What are the results from one more month of being on the Reishi mushrooms?
The results were good. Kappa free light chain dropped 6 points. From 56.90 to 50.90 mg/dl. :D
What can I say? Thank you Lord! Thank you, my dear friend Karlina, for turning me on to the shrooms! They’re nasty, but they are working.
Next blood work is in first week of June. Check back with me if you are interested in the results of this personal experiment.
