My older brother, Jeff, and his wife, Carol arrived via car this afternoon from Texas via Colorado to Mackay. They drove 680 miles today.
The Mackay Bomb Sniffing Dogs, checked them out before they came in to our father’s house.

Jani drove Robbyn to the Idaho Falls, Idaho Airport for her flight back to Colorado, so she was gone for about 5 hours.
While Jani was gone, Ron and Iris visited – hadn’t seen them in awhile and was good to get caught up..
Our California friends, Bonnie and Kris, took their own excursion today north from Mackay to Challis, Idaho. They passed by Mt. Borah, the tallest mountain in Idaho at 12,667 feet, drove through Grand View Canyon and entered the Round Valley, home of Challis. Unfortunately, because of the Memorial Day Holiday, not everything was open, but they found a restaurant for lunch. They will be departing back to California via car late tomorrow afternoon.
