Holy Holy Holy

I must recount this so that I do not forget what a special blessing from our Lord. This blog is a journal of the blessings in my life and faith “moments”.

After last Sunday service in church, a dear lady excitedly came to me and said she must share something with me. She sat behind my daughter M and 2 year old grandson Thadd. Thadd was asking mum if we (the congregation) could sing the hymn – Holy, Holy, Holy. In our brethren church, any member can stand up to request a hymn, read a passage of Scripture or pray a prayer.
So Thadd wants to sing Holy, Holy, Holy – a hymn he learned since mummy and him, started BSF ( Bible Study Fellowship International)  beginning of this year. Mummy told Thadd that someone will have to stand up and ask for this hymn to be sung.
Praise be to God, the next moment, church member R, sitting in the main sanctuary stood up and requested for this hymn! ( M and Thadd were sitting outside, in the annexe, their whispering are out of his earshot!)
I am sure Thadd must be a most happy child, our dear Lord granted the desire of his heart!
I hope, one day when Thadd is able to read – from this blog entry, he will know God heard him, answered him and blessed him.

This dear lady who sat behind Thadd, was so amazed at how good our Lord is. She had to bless my heart too!

Hymn
Holy, holy, holy!  Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy!  Merciful and mighty,
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy!  All the saints adore thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

Holy, holy, holy!  Though the darkness hide thee,
Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see,
Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
Perfect in power, in love and purity.

Holy, holy, holy!  Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy!  Merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity.
