Back in the land of the living

I am back in the land of the living. Last week was not fun at all. It was like living through an episode of House. All of a sudden my temperature and CRP skyrocketed. Without understanding the root cause, the plan was to drown me with an antibiotic cocktail and hope that something in that mix worked. When person’s WBC is real low, as mine was at 0.01, they don’t take any chances here. No time to figure out “Why?” or rather do that as step one. They bring out the top guns right away. Well, I am happy to report that I am doing much, much better. I would say back to my normal self. So much for transplant two being as easy as the first one. Oh well. I am just glad things are on the mend.

Meanwhile, during my worse day last week, I got an amazing surprise. A fellow MM blogger who was visiting Little Rock for his three month checkup stopped by 7C to say Hi. Well – so much for Murphy’s Law. On the day that I felt the worse, this happens. I am so sorry I did not get a chance to meet in person. However, I am so grateful that he stopped by and left a beautiful card. I am sure that played into my speedy recovery process. Thank you so very much!!!

Tomorrow is my dr. appointment and we will see where we go from there.

Anyhow, that is about all for now. Happy Mother’s Day and for those with European background, Happy Victory Day!
