Foggy Crisp October

This past wednesday on my drive to work, the fog was around the treetops in Logan County near Russellville.  It reminded me of T.S. Eliot’s writing:

The yellow fog that rubs its back upon the windowpanes…
And seeing that it was a soft October night,
Curled once about the house and fell asleep.

Fall is my favorite time of year.  Humidity is gone, insects are gone and the sky is that
brillant blue.   I have began feeding the birds, blue jays, wrens, doves, chickadees and Cardinals are flocking to it.
