Relapsed High Risk Myeloma – Update June 30 2013

Almost missed Ann and Chuck as they slipped out early this morning for their drive back to Greeley, Colorado today (680 miles). Sophie likes the carseat bed that I gave her that used to belong to my Rudi-the-paralyzed dachshund.

Below: Rudi in her wheelchair. Rudi passed away in October 2009 at the age of 13 years. Loved that little dog!
Rudi (on the front) loved to ride JackRed (4-Wheeler) with Kemmer (on the back) and I. Shown below in 2008.

My on-again, off-again GI tract is moving SOUTH way to quickly this morning. My legs ache and I’m still on Zithromax Day 4 or 5 for my sinuses. I’m tired and plan to be one with my sofa watching golf ALL DAY.

Ken Krishnek came by for a visit – ALWAYS enjoy his visits. He and his wife, Sharon, have a new dog that FOUND THEM 10 Jun 2013. I haven’t met Shortie yet. Shortie took an unaccompanied tour of Mackay today, but Ken was finally able to locate him – he needs to be fixed!

Shortie Krishnek, one lucky dog who stopped at the right house when he was lost! However, he has been returned to a “no-kill” shelter now in Boise, Idaho (6 Jul 2013)

I spent most of the day on the sofa….Jani went and visited Dad, but I stayed home. Then, she did the lawn care and cleaned the whole house while I watched from the sofa. We go to St. Luke’s Hospital MSTI to for my appointment with the oncologist on Tuesday, 2 July 2013 to get my bone marrow and SPEP results. Hopefully, the results will be such that I can start in on Cycle 3 of the Bendamustine/Revlimid 5 mg/Dex.
