The PET CT-scan of two weeks ago came up with some questions. Of course it’s positive that the verdict was not “immediate new treatment”. The scan was followed up today by an ultrasound. But also this ultrasound was not conclusive. A biopt was wanted. It could be done immediately. This had two big advantages. First of all I didn’t have to wait for a new appointment and trip to Amsterdam, buit the biggest advantage is that I didn’t have time to worry about it. A biopt in the groin area is not something to look forward to. Lucky enough it was performed in a professional way and it didn’t hurt too much. A bonemarrow biopt is quite nastier. Now we wait for Thursday next week, when the results are ready. I’m very curious.
